The couple have been removed from the website quietly as the organisation looks set to cut ties

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dropped from the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust website in a move that will likely upset the couple.

The site was relaunched this week and the couple’s names are nowhere to be seen.

The QCT was set up for young Commonwealth leaders and provides them with tools and support.

It hopes to help transform communities in a number of core areas.

These include agriculture, education and employability.

Its website says: “We put young Commonwealth leaders at the centre of everything we do.

"We provide their organisations with flexible funding, practical tools and support, and a vibrant network to help them transform their communities.

“This across the areas of agriculture & food, education & employability, environment, health, and inclusion.”

Harry and Meghan were originally president and vice president of the organisation but renounced their titles when they stepped away from being working royals two years ago.

The organisation looks like it is distancing itself from the couple, removing any trace of them from its website and replacing it with information on the late Queen’s legacy.

Launching the website, the QCT tweeted: “Our newly re-designed website is now live.

“Thanks to the important work of young leaders across the Commonwealth, we have amazing stories lined up for you.

“Please take a moment to check it out and let us know what you think”

The couple are not featured anywhere on the website, despite the work carried out for the organisation.

Earlier this week, the couple were warned that their popularity in America is waning as the public grow tired of their TV appearances and demands for privacy.

Greg Swenson told GB News: “I think there's this misconception that she is popular and that Harry's is popular in the US.

"But it's really just because some of the late-night comedians adore them and continue to adore them.

"And some of the traditional media outlets as well as the late-night comedians have a fondness for them that was not shared by the American people.

"And that wasn't the case two years ago that's for sure.”
